Japanese journalists launched a traffic accident southwest of Japan Sunday as "the world's most expensive traffic accident" in terms of the total value of repairing the luxury cars damaged.
The British Sky News Channel reported 14 luxury cars, including 8 Ferrari and 3 Mercedes CL600 ″a Lamborghini car, along with a "April skyline" and a Toyota Prius, had an accident.
According to the police, one Ferrari driver lost control of his car, given the slippery road; the car collided with the concrete road break and rolled it to the middle of the road where the other cars were going.
A series of consecutive collisions resulted in two injuries, which were taken to hospital.
Police said the traffic accident would cost the insurance companies about four million dollars, according to preliminary estimates.
