Five people belonging to Isil were killed after an exchange of gunfire with police on Saturday in the "Ayoub Juth" area of Pakistan's Karachi city.
The report quoted the police as saying that its troops raided one of the houses in which ISIL militants were hiding who fired at the police, prompting her to respond with gunfire, killing five militants.
The area has been cordoned off and searches have been launched, as more militants are suspected to be in the area, the network added.
