The British Daily Mail quoted Chinese media as saying that a worker at an iphone telephone production factory died after jumping out of a window on the 12th floor.
His colleagues at the factory said the worker was upset and angry after failing to obtain "referral fees", which pushed him to commit suicide Saturday.
The Chinese labor Authority, an active United States-based body, also said a worker at the Foxconn plant died on Saturday evening after jumping out of the window.
The Voskcone is a Taiwanese company that is making the final assembly for all parts of Yvonne. It has several factories in China.
Police were quoted as saying that the worker jumped out of the building, noting that his family was being investigated.
"Jumping motives are still unknown," the police said, adding that he had jumped out of the building inhabited by a group of Foxconn workers.
This is not the first time that Foxconn, a head supplier of Apple Asia, faces a case concerning its employees.
In November, the Financial Times said Foxconn had used 3,000 students in Zhengzhou city to help assemble the US company's new phone.
According to the report, some students are between the ages of 17 and 19, adding that they work routinely for 11 hours a day at the factory, which is illegal under Chinese law.
According to reports, the students told the British daily that they should complete three months of "practical experience" at the factory for graduation.
"What we do in the factory has nothing to do with our education and what we are studying and what we are going to graduate for," said one.
